What was your career path to the Career Center?

The power of prayer! I was hand delivered to the CC via a staffing agency.

My positive outlook.

What are some things you enjoy outside of the Career Center?

Belly dancing, walking in Forest Park, and praising my family and friends!

What’s a career-related mistake you made and what did you learn from it?

Staying at a job I did not enjoy because of fear and listening to others. If you believe you deserve better take a chance if it does not work out you can always try again and again.

What is one thing you wish students knew about the Career Center?

That we are really here to assist you in every way possible.

What is the best part of your job?

Being able to greet and put students at ease before the interview. Being part of a wonderful team!

What was your first job?

I babysat for a small group of parents in Kirkwood every week and some evenings after school.
